Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I hope this letter finds you healthy and well.
It’s been two years now since the COVID19 Pandemic landed and changed the world as we knew it. Although things have greatly improved, COVID19 is still circulating amongst us and we have decided to err on the side of caution and we will not be holding our annual Convention in May of 2022.
If things continue on a positive trend, we are hoping to host our Convention in the fall of 2022 instead! We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates here – please stay tuned!
I wish to thank all of the sponsors who have reached out and expressed interest in participating in our trade show. Don’t despair, this will happen again! Likewise, we are disappointed that we are not able to connect and see all our fellow industry colleagues this May – we look forward to seeing you at our next (and hopefully soon) Convention! We promise to reach out as soon as a Convention date is set!
Thank you to my amazing Provincial Executive and your unwavering dedication do the Alberta Association of Insurance Adjusters!
We will host a virtual Teams AGM in May and hope to see you all there! There is a quorum requirement and we do ask for any members in good standing to attend. At this time, I would also like to put out a call for nominations! If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering and being a part of the Provincial AAIA Executive, please let me know, we would love to have you join us!
The AGM will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. Invitations will be sent out shortly. All members in good standing and in attendance at our AGM will be entered into the draw for two free Convention Registrations!
Thank you for all your patience and support of our Convention and Association. We look forward to seeing you at our AGM and visiting with your at our next Convention!
